Millan Ochieng Otieno is a seasoned health systems manager with over a decade of progressive experience in quality assurance, business development, and health service delivery. He currently serves as the Quality Assurance Officer at St. Theresa Mission Hospital Kiirua (STMHK), where he leads strategic quality initiatives, staff training, and SafeCare accreditation efforts, ensuring compliance with national and international healthcare standards. His career journey has seen impactful leadership roles, including Quality Assurance Manager at Consolata Hospital Mathari and Business Development Officer at PCEA Chogoria Hospital. Millan has been instrumental in spearheading health systems reforms, institutional strategic planning, and quality improvement frameworks that enhance patient safety and operational efficiency. His background as a nutritionist further deepens his understanding of holistic patient care. Millan holds a BSc in Health Systems Management and is pursuing an MSc in the same field at Kenya Methodist University.
